The Brewster Democratic Town Committee
The Brewster Democratic Town Committee (MA) is comprised of volunteers who support the policies and candidates of the Democratic Party. To the current administration we say:
Hands off our democracy!
Hands off the rule of law and due process!
Hands off our rights and freedoms!
Hands off reproductive health decisions!
Hands off Social Security!
Hands off schools, libraries, and the postal service!
As Democrats, we believe in and work for the common good, and we recognize that our government can have a positive role in our lives. We meet monthly on a Saturday morning, come join us!
“The Brewster Democratic Town Committee (DTC) voted unanimously on April 12, 2025, to call for the resignation of State Representative Christopher Flanagan who represents the 1st Barnstable District which includes Brewster.
The Brewster DTC believes the residents of Brewster, Dennis and Yarmouth deserve effective representation in the Massachusetts State House and we value leaders with personal credibility and integrity who can focus on the needs of constituents.
While Representative Flanagan is presumed innocent of the charges he faces, his complex legal challenges raise serious doubts about his ability to provide effective representation.
The Brewster DTC looks forward to seeing a strong Democratic candidate come forward who can serve effectively as the next 1st Barnstable District Representative.”
